Mr. Bokenfohr has gained equal, shared custody for fathers of infant children on numerous occasions. Mr. Bokenfohr has also won numerous grandparents’ rights cases where he proved that it was in the best interest of the children that the grandparents be given custody rather than their biological parents.
Mr. Bokenfohr successfully represented the mother of a child who was being severely physically disciplined by her step-mother while in the custody of their father. Mr. Bokenfohr alleged that the conduct rose to the level of abuse, and the case was ultimately settled out of court in favor of Mr. Bokenfohr’s client where she obtained a sole custody judgment.
Mr. Bokenfohr represented a stepparent who gained custody of her stepchildren over the children’s biological mother. Mr. Bokenfohr tried the case and presented numerous witnesses and evidence where he proved that if the biological mother of the children was granted custody, substantial harm could have come to the children while in her care. This was an extremely difficult case in that the father of the children had passed away. These cases are extremely difficult to litigate and win, and Mr. Bokenfohr did an outstanding job in representing his client.
